Stories from the Hearthstone is an evocative autumn-themed degustation dinner being held in the cosy intimate surrounds of Brisbane’s only cellar door, Clovely Estate.

Executive Chef, Mike Kirwin, has conceived a mouthwatering autumn degustation menu celebrating Clovely Estate’s intimate connection to the South Burnett - its textures and tales, its people and produce.

Diners will be treated to an exquisite selection of unique and memorable dishes, paired with Clovely Estate wines and starting with an Amuse, ‘Coal Bucket’ (Pea, wasabi & Beetroot, balsamic).

First course is a flavorsome ‘Country Hotpot’ (Rainbow trout, clam, prawn, rouille, toast, tobiko & succulent), whilst Second course ‘Birds of a Feather’ promises to be a taste sensation - of foie gras, game, coffee, blackberry and walnut.

“Stag on a Hill’ - 3rd course - is a rich combination of Venison, beetroot, sour cherry, fig, kale and watercress, followed by ‘Ploughman’s Pantry’ – Irish blue, fossilized pear and sourdough.

And to finish, there’s the ultra creative ‘Corn and the Cob’ – Sweetcorn, meringue, husk and ash.
