Robert MacPherson: The Painter’s Reach showcases the senior Australian artist’s 40 prolific years of works including paintings, installations, ephemera and works on paper.

The artist’s rich and varied working life and self-educated approach to learning is reflected in his distinctive art which has been manifested in many contexts from minimalism, abstraction and aesthetics to humour and the every day.

The opening weekend offers visitors the chance to gain fascinating insights into the artist and his works, with a range of talks and discussions:
