Queen Of Cakes

Ashgrove

QUEEN OF CAKES HAS CLOSED AND BEEN REPLACED BY SUGAR RUSH CAKERY, WHO BAKE CAKES FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS TO ORDER.

Queen of Cakes, a cute little cake parlour in a tiny blink-and-miss-it shopping strip is the domain of Kristie, one time head pastry chef at E'cco Bistro and co-writer with Phillip Johnson of dessert cookbook Decadence.

With drive-in parking out front, it's an easy pop in for discerning sweet tooths who get to choose from a small but delectable range of cupcakes – mini and large, macarons, brownies and biscuits. Otherwise Kirstie's special occasion cakes, for children and adults, are amongst the most creative to be found.
