Discover the beauty in greater Brisbane’s backyard at the Peaks to Points Festival from July 17 to August 1, 2021. 

The 2-week biennial event returns this year with the biggest line-up yet, including 50+ family-friendly events across Brisbane, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan regions.

The Festival brings together community and groups, businesses, and government to celebrate greater Brisbane’s ‘wild side’, and to showcase their work in improving our natural environment for the wider community.

Experience amazing natural areas on Brisbane's doorstep through fantastic, free events and hands-on activities, ranging from bush walks, birdwatching, tree plantings, workshops, orienteering, bus tours and lots of other great eco-activities, so you can learn more about our wonderful natural environment, and how we can protect and enhance it.

Peaks To Points Festival 2021

Family Day kick starts the 2-week long festival on Sunday, July 18 from 10am-2pm. Presented by Brisbane MarketPlace, this fun day out for the whole family, including four-legged members, will take place at Oxley Creek Common in Rocklea.

The Family Day is free to attend with something for everyone, from kids' activities and interactive workshops, to live entertainment and sustainability information displays, plus a range of food trucks.

Highlights of Family Day include free kids' art and crafts hosted by Messy Play Co, face-painting, an inflatable obstacle course, rock climbing wall, and gardening workshop with Little Green Thumbs, where kids can get their hands dirty and take home their very own plant.

A variety of sustainability and environmental groups will be exhibiting, food trucks and drink vendors will be on hand to provide sustenance, and you won't want to miss any of the live local entertainment such as the QLD Urban Utilities Water Warriors Show.

The 2-week celebration features 50+ family-friendly events across the south side of Brisbane and throughout Ipswich, Redlands & Logan regions. The majority of these events are completely free and provide parents an excellent opportunity to get the kids out into nature and get their hands dirty.
