Heritage-listed Eagle Farm Racecourse will light up green this St Patrick’s Day for the launch of Paddyfest, Brisbane’s largest full-swing festival, with pipe bands, green top hats, Irish dancers and Guinness galore.
Paddyfest, the largest event of its kind in Brisbane, will be THE place to be for St Patrick's Day, promising ‘good beer and great craic’ in its first year celebrating all things Irish – beer, food, culture and entertainment.
Starring renowned Irish stand-up comedian, Jimeoin as the headline act, Paddyfest will feature a packed program of traditional Irish song and dance will kick off from 11am, creating a boisterous atmosphere of entertainment all day and night.
Bars will be popping up all over the venue selling Guinness, to be sure, and cocktails such as Shamrock Juice (a refreshing green cocktail with leprechaun dust).
Meanwhile food truck menus include some of Brisbane’s best, plus the Diddly Dee Irish Food Truck peddling traditonal Irish eats.
VIP ticket holders will get to sample the magical Leprechaun Punch Bowl, adorned with sprinkle, glitter and fairy floss, as well as enjoying access to BRC's exclusive rooftop bar The Society Rooftop.
Plus, every person who pre-purchases a ticket will go in the draw to WIN return flights to Ireland.
Need to know - Tickets are on sale from only $15pp with kids aged 13-17yrs $10 and children 12 years and under receiving free entry. Note that children's tickets can only be purchased on the day.
