The Children's Gallery, located within the Ipswich Art Gallery, brightens things up this winter with Light Play for Kids.

This intriguing hands-on exhibit enables children to explore and play with light using overhead projectors, illuminated light boxes and more.

Kids can also get to experiment with transparency, reflection and shadow as well as other properties of light in a fun interactive environment.

Embracing the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and REmida, Light Play provides a creative setting for young children which also encourages collaborative play, experimentation and discovery-based learning.

Recommended for ages 3-12yrs.
