Chinese New Year

Celebrate Chinese New Year in family friendly style this year at Sanctuary Cove’s spectacular Chinese New Year celebrations.

Here the Year of the Dog will be seen in with a weekend of traditional Chinese activities, fireworks, delicious cuisine, lion dancing, Chinese musicians, face painting and more.

On Friday and Saturday nights, there'll be lion dancing between 7 and 8pm and, on Friday night a spectacular fireworks display at 8pm.

Then on Sunday from 11am-2.30pm there'll be face painting and jumping castle for the kids as well as traditional Chinese activities including crafts and Chinese musicians providing entertainment.

Between 1-2pm on Sunday, not to be missed are the traditional colourful Lion Dances which will be performed in the Marine Village.
