Celia Pacquola

Brisbane City Hall

Supremely talented comedian, Celia Pacquola, is All Talk in her rib-tickling stand-up comedy show in The Brisbane Comedy Festival, March 13 – 18 March, at Brisbane City Hall.

Pacquola has become a very familiar face on TV shows Utopia, The Beautiful Lie, and Rosehaven – the latter a huge success for her and co-creator, co-writer, co-star, and real-life BFF, Luke McGregor. The pair has received several awards and accolades, with the show recently being picked up by SundanceTV in the U.S. It was also named one of the best shows on television for 2017 by no less than the New York Times.

The talented writer and performer has taken a year off the stand-up comedy circuit while focusing on her other work, but she’s happily returning to her roots for All Talk. Described as ‘sharp, frank, honest, deft and smart as hell’, Pacquola is sure to keep Brisbane audiences enthralled and in stitches with her storytelling.

“One of our most gifted stand-ups at the top of her game”, according to The Age, Pacquola won the 2014 Amused Moose Laughter Award at Edinburgh Fringe, and has been nominated twice for Best Comedy at Adelaide Fringe Festival and once for the Barry Award for Best Show at Melbourne Comedy Festival.

She’s definitely all talk, which is what audiences love and keep coming back for.
