Schuster Park

Tallebudgera

Schuster Park is top of the league in the dog park stakes – a vast off-leash expanse of interconnected grassy fields and saltwater creek and an on-leash small sandy beach with picnic area, BBQ and playground.

Schuster Park Tallebudgera

Entrance to this Tallebudgera gem is either via Heather St, Tallebudgera or at 19th Avenue, Elanora, with parking available in both areas.

If entering via Heather St, the first part of the park up until just beyond the Horse and Carriage Club in on-leash and it’s after there that the fun begins (look out for the off-leash sign and map at the start of the path). If parking on 19th Avenue cross the bridge and you’re there.

Schuster Park Tallebudgera

With so much open space to run in and so many trees to sniff, nooks and crannies to explore, dogs can spend hours here, and is a particularly good space for larger dogs to really get some exercise.

Schuster Park Tallebudgera

As well as the fields there’s a path that flows the creek around and this leads to the delightful (on-leash) picnic area on the Tallebudgera side with its sandy beach, BBQs, small playground and toilet facilities.

Note: Bins and disposal bags are available at the entrance to the park itself but not within. Drinking water and a small rotunda shelter can be found near the bridge on the Elanora side.
